REPORT: 1 Trillion in Contractor Fraud

President Obama announced that the troops were coming home by the December 31st withdrawal deadline. But in the meantime, US troops will be working to train Iraqi security forces, a program that is the responsibility of the State Department. But a new report from the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, describes this Police Development Program as a bottomless pit. And even though the State Department was aware it was going to inherit this training program from the DOD, it didn't do much planning to make sure that money would be spent efficiently.

Military contractors are the biggest welfare rats in the US, there is no need for that many contractors and they serve no purpose but to just want our soldiers to kill for profit.

This is nothing new. C'mon folks, this has been going on for 50 years, at least. Ever since WWll, contractors have been ripping off the governement [ i.e. Taxpayers ] and prior to that they just went directly to the people themselves! "The War Effort!" People were hoodwinked into believeing that by giving up their own personal comforts and benefits they were helping The Allies win the war. In fact, they were lining their own pockets. War is about Money - Period! It always has been and will be.
