Thanx for uploading this :-) Being such a huge fan of the sri-anil onscreen pairing, and a huge lamhe fan (my fav film) it was a treat listening to yash chopra. To me, it doesn't matter that Lamhe did not do well in India. At the end of the day, it's a classic and true film lovers that appreciate good cinema know lamhe's worth. It's been my fav film since it released.

Yeh Hali, I dont know why would anyone rate DDLJ over classic like lamhe, Lamhe had a very different and different pathbreaking script and topic, DDLJ is another boy meet girl thing, nothing new, except for its colour and high budget, take that away, there is nothing there, but with Lamhe, take the big budget away, it will still be considered a great movie, Yashji even says this that Lamhe is his best movie.

True Chof, Lamhe is the fav of many directors as well. For yash Chopra he not only mentions Lamhe as his best or his favorite but even his dearest movie. I can understand why Sridevi rejected Darr, DTPH and his new movie, maybe she didnt find in them the depth she found in Lamhe. Yea Chof it is my all time favorite movie in the 90s and my all time favorite love story ever seen. I have seen lots of love stories from b&w until date. But nothing has surpassed Lamhe so far and have doubt if any would.

I have bought this DVD a month ago here in london for £24... and have given to my South African friend. She is in awe of Sridevi and asked abt any other movies of hers and I bought CHANDNI for her. That lady thinks Sridevi is epitome of Indian woman and always asks me why the other girls are not like her.. :)

she was by far the best and most complete actress, whether it was commercial cinema or art house films she always delivered. I remember her performance in a film called Sadma with kamal hassan where she acts like a little girl. It was completely amazing how she pulled it off, anyone who hasnt seen the movie must see it. Those ppl who keep saying that Madhuri is the best need to see that movie believe me Sridevi is unbelievable.

lamhe is still my all time fav..just watch it again last december...how beautiful n good the movie are..wif the perfect cast 4 evry role..perfect script,dialogue,acting..the it ha been directed..just perfect...dunno y some people dun really like it..i cant compare it wif ddlj..both are my all time fav..always...i have watched these 2 movies since i was small-6years old(wat year was lamhe out already?1992?)=lamhe n 9yo= 4 ddlj..

Hali I would love you to post it on the directors fav movie. Just take the colour and budget award from lamhe, it will still be considered a great movie because of its story, script and acting. But take the budget and colour away from DTPH or DDLJ, it will be a complete disaster with critics saying another typical bollywood b grade film. Thats the difference.
