@boomdocker100 - I think that very thing set the standard for every soap opera that ever came afterwards. Don't kill off any stars just in case they or the producers want them to return in the future. If there's any doubt, leave an angle open.  The general public were so distraught at losing "Bobby", so the show's producers HAD TO bring him back, at any cost. Thank goodness!

What I always wondered was---what happened to the missing year??? Was the rest of the series a year behind? And how can Pam have dreamed all that in one night? The writers must have been at a loss to explain Bobby's ressurection.

@DominoRyder What would have been funnier would to see Patrick in Step By Step wake up and find Victoria Principal in the shower and realized he dreamed an entire dif series sort of like they did on Bob Newhart when he woke up and found Suzanne Pleshette in bed.

I think that Bobby's return in the soap was the biggest stroke of theater in TV history. But i'm one of the biggest fans of Dallas! And i love Patrick Duffy!!! Thanks for sharing this great video with us, i really love it! :) Dallas 4Ever and Ever and Beyond!!!
