SOLUTION:
you can go to network connections and on the connection icon right click and go to properties make sure internet protocol tcp ip is checked another thing you could do is go to windows firewall and chck your execptions then go to advance tab in windows firewall and make sure you internet connection is unchekd --solution BY benjamin92113

  • it says "network cable unplugged" on your local area connection but your concern is about the wireless right? the network connection window displays the types of connections you could use, the thing is the wireless network connection is not showing on "network connections" that means the adapter(hardware) is in the computer but the drivers(softwares) for that to function is missing. what i'm saying is you need to have the driver/software installed, or maybe reinstalled

  • i do understand what you saying, but that software wont get installed... but i think i might figure this out.

  • solutions: either you get another copy of that installer or maybe give your computer a new adapter...that's the only way

  • ok thanks

  • me too

  • that doesn't help me lol

  • To see weather or not it'll allow you to connect to the internet by pluging Ethernet to Ethernet Ports on the PC and Modem or Homeplug Adaptor. Whichever you use then if this works properly you should be able to read thearther instructions on how to set up a Network Connection and also, how to transfer the files and the Windows Operateing Systems. I tried the Ethernet advice when my Mum rang up the ISP to get back online+ found it works on the new PC.

  • Mmm!?! Don't really know what to say sorry. But I tried useing a couple of USB Flashdrives in both Computers but although it desplayed the Files the ISP one was Firewalled but it does allow me to install other Files. I now have a USB Transfer Cable to see what that does used it and found for some features u have to be online, and I think I know how to do it.

When you insert the disc into the Drive on the old PC plug both USB ends into the PCs and plug the Ethernet Cable into the old one.

  • well my problem is that when I going to network connection I don't see any icon and I'm trying to make a new conection an nathing happen can you please tell me what appen? thanks

  • Get Linux.

  • mys show the same thing but it has a locked i tryed 2 disabled it but it says "it is not possible to disable the connection at this time. this connection maybe using one or more protocols that do not support plug-and-play , or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account"

  • @bossunltd tnx fo the info. but i had already fixed the problem. . the thing is, the adopter inside my laptop was crashed . but i dont know where to buy a repalcement, , so i just decided to buy an external one. the one that you just plug in . in your usb port and there you go! :)
