@HulkSmashTime Also, I don't think he "flew away" as a deadbeat dad at the end. He tells the kid in his monologue that he will always be there for him. Further, we can posit ourselves, that Superman will watch out for the child and support he and Lois financially. Or, we could... assume not, but I don't really see why him flying off means anything other than he was leaving for that particular time.

@HulkSmashTime I don't think midwestern farmeres need be offended by the fact that a specific religion, if any, has ever been named for Superman and the Kents. I also think it's highly possible that many midwestern families aren't necessarily religious. All I know is that Superman himself hasn't been portrayed as particularly earthly religious. He exclaims things like "Rao!" Or sometimes "Gods..." But for, as you say, so not to turn people off, an official religion hasn't been declared.

Just so everyone knows, what I'm doing in this series of vids is sort of an homage to DCUO, where Jack Ryder, a talk show host who tells everyone they're wrong, can be heard throughout. Ryder is a comic book character who hosts a Rush Limbaugh type loudmouth talk show. Ryder eventually becomes the Creeper.
