It's Going To Be Okay - Episode 24 Part 2

Demi: (Automatically thinking it was Cody, she laid her head on her lap and sighed) I thought you didnt want me, Cody. You make that clear last night, would you just leave me alone already?
Nick: So it was Cody that slapped you?
Demi: (Surprised, she jumped up quickly) Nick
Nick: Did you go through the park last night when you left?
Demi: (Looks down)
Nick: (Steps towards her) Demi, why would you do that?
Demi: (Sighs) I just wanted to get home, it was the quickest way. I didnt think he would be there that late. It doesnt matter anyways, Nick.
Nick: Demi, of course it matters. What did he do?
Demi: (A tear falls down her cheek)
Nick: Oh, no, Dem. He didnt, not again!
Demi: (Shakes her head) No, he didnt. Okay? He kissed me and touched me a little. I gave in and was going to let him have sex with me. So I started to undo his pants just to get it over with. But he backed away, told me not to touch him and slapped me. Then he left. I was going to let the guy that raped me have sex with me again. Not even trying to fight him off. Whats wrong with me? First Joe, then you, and then Cody.
Nick: (Shakes his head and takes another step towards her, pulling her into a hug) Demi, stop. None of what happened was your fault, okay? Im sorry for what happened. Between us and you and Cody. Im so sorry.
Demi: (Hugs back, and looks up at him) Im not.
Nick: (Confused) Not what?
Demi: Sorry about last night.
Nick: (Still confused) Well of course, youre happy you were able to be with Joe, I can understand that.
Demi: (Shakes her head and pulls away from the hug) Thats not what I mean.
Nick: (Nods) Im proud you stood up to Cody.
Demi: Nick!
Nick: (Looks down) I already said I dont know what came over me, Im sorry I kissed you. It wont happen again.
Demi: (Sighs) But what if I want it to?
Nick: (Shocked) What?
Demi: Look, Nick. I dont know why you kissed me, but you did. And I dont know why I felt something, but I did. Im just confused right now. I mean, I love your brother, so why did I feel something when you kissed me?
Nick: I dont know, but I felt it too. I love Selena, so Im just as confused as you are.
Demi: We cant tell them, Nick.
Nick: I know. We cant tell them what happened last night.
Demi: Or today.
Nick: What do you mean?
Demi: (Steps towards him once again and gives him a passionate kiss)
Nick: (Kisses back and places a hand on the back of her neck, deepening the kiss)
Demi: (Wraps her arms around his neck, still kissing him)
Nick: (Steps back with her, leaning her against the tree, still with one hand on her neck and the other on the opposite side of her head, leaning on the tree)
Demi: (Hears the bell ring and pulls away) We should probably head inside.
Nick: (Stands up straight) Yeah, definitely.
Cody: (Steps out from behind the tree, clapping) That was a really good show.
Demi: (Shakes her head) Just leave me alone!
Nick: (Steps in front of Cody) Just walk away.
Cody: Hey, I wasnt the one making out with Joes girlfriend!
Demi: (Angry) Not today!
Cody: (Laughs) You really are a slut, arent you?
Nick: (Punches him in the face) Shut up!
Cody: You are so going to wish you didnt do that (Runs into him, pushing him on the ground. He sits on top of him and starts to punch him in the face, over and over)
Demi: Cody stop it! Stop!!

There's a bit to this next part, so I'm going to try and break it up into different episodes as much I can, even though it's basically at a similar time :).
