Also, keep in mind the person I was sharing this with was a disdainful troll, who was trying to find any reason they could to make me, and/or the information, such as what's contained in this video, seem unimportant, by pointing at the music, and how it tries to in a sense subconsciously guide the viewer's judgement and emotional state.

Many other videos have song choices that are much more neutral, and fit with the content, without seemingly trying to bypass discernment.

I'm not sure if English is your first language, but I should probably say the following.

I was never embarrassed by the video, but others have expressed embarrassment when trying to share this particular video with others, because of the music.

This could alleviated by either lowering the volume of the music, changing it to another song, or removing it altogether.

I think this could boost the chances of the video becoming viral, rather than people choosing not to share.
