Choc cake with choc ganache.Decoration with fondant and figure from gumpaste. My 1st attempt trying to make figure from gumpaste. whole body..Not so perfect but hope you enjoy my video. Thanks..

  • Can you make figures out of fondant or only gum paster works for this?

  • Hi Cpercent. You can use fondant to make figures as well, but it was advisable to add a bit of the CMC powder to make it a bit harder.

  • Hi moeswife1, so sorry for the late reply...I was out off town latelt and quite busy. The tutu...mmmm...actualy we just need a small round of sugarpaste/fondant.roll it to flat round figure, using the end of a toothpick, roll at every edge of the round sugarpaste. It will automatically form a wave figure. make few pieces of it and glued on top of each other. If I find my time already, I will try to make a ballerina tutorial for my you tube friends... :)
