not 10 foot rim
you're maybe 7foot
no skill !!!!
-
my biggest advice would be to not bring your heels up towards your butt but keep your legs more straight pushing all the power you got straight into the ground, i think it may give you a few more inches

I first pulled the rim down a few months into plyometric and calve training as a freshman in high school.

You have the advantage of being young, more time to train until high school. I started squatting in 9th grade so you can to if you feel like you are able to without discomfort. Otherwise hit dumbbell lunges and leg press

hey umm i was wondering if you has any suggestions for me.
im in 8th grade, about 6'2, 185. white, for what it matterrs.
i cangrab rim off a run, but cant dunk it. my 2 foot jump is about 1.5 inches off rim.
i go to the gym every monday, wednesy, and friday, run evry day. my gym workout for jump consists of step ups, leg presses, and calf raises. at my house i run up a hill i have every now and than.
any tips, critisizm, or tell me if im doing a good job? been doing it for about a month now.

Your gym workout needs to include squats and deadlift. You can throw in leg press, lunges, and step ups now and then but make squats and deadlifts the base of your workout, along with calves although they dont need to be concentrated on. Running every day will not help with your vertical, although I'm guessing you are doing it for cardio. The hill runs are fun but you need to concentrate on becoming beastly in the weight room first. Also keep playing basketball to practice jumping and stay light
