iran is a major power in the region who dares to spit in the face of us. it has been collaborating with china. now, if china will have the iranian oil (it almost certainly has russian gas, timber, and all other goodies of siberia and urals) it will overrun us in very near future. if you see it is a double move like on a chess game. by taking iran us will have the oil and at the same time curb (a little) the rising dragon. that's why iran is a must for us. unfortunately.
