The party is about to begin.

In a week or so, the trumpets will sound, heralding the start of 18 months of non-stop festivities in honor of Charles Darwin.
July 1, 2008, is the 150th anniversary of the first announcement of his discovery of natural selection, the main driving force of evolution.
Since 2009 is the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth (Feb. 12), as well as being the 150th anniversary of the publication of his masterpiece, "On the Origin of Species" (Nov. 24), the extravaganza is set to continue until the end of next year.
Get ready for Darwin hats, t-shirts, action figures, naturally selected fireworks and evolving chocolates. Oh, and lots of books and speeches. Let's party!

what does that have to do with anything? Many famous people of the past, from Aristotle to Nietzsche to Tolstoy, have all shown hints of misogynistic point of view. In the sense of nature it IS better that the weak die off. In many species animals will kill their weak so the rest can survive better. Besides, what a man's idol says has nothing to do with what he, himself, believes. Although i don't think he's really off the point with more people being born than could survive.

Full title is not the origin of species... but, "The origin of species by means of natural selection or the preservation of favored races in the struggle for life."

Darwin's idol Thomas Malthus Said: "More are people born than possibly could survive so it's best if the weakest die off. "

Charley also believed that women were inferior to men because of the hand size and that he believe that they had smaller IQ and brains.
