So what if the Rabbi is Hispanic. You got something against Hispanics now. What did Hispanics ever do to you except get kicked out of their own territory for the selfish greed of others who wanted to expand their slave driven industry empire.

Jesus te ama!!!! Ya cambiaaa!!

@tonytiger75 No, it's because of the Enlightenment. Research actual US history, not the lies your church gave you.

Mishpucka, Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his thoughts.

@tonytiger75 you completely missed the point of my comment. perhaps you have been eating/smoking too many frosted flakes, in which case that would be understandable indeed. try something healthier maybe.

@wisdomtruthpeace So some people miss use Christianity to hurt Jews, ya it's happened, but not everyone has done that. The USA has been the friendliest country to the Jew in the history of the world not in spite of Christianity but because of it. That's Rabbi Daniel Lapin who says that, he's a far greater Rabbi than this Hispanic pretender.

tonytiger75: And as a second point, Brown surely knows that the vast majority of even Christian scholars see the NT geneaology not as a literal geneaology, but as a theological creation aimed at giving Jesus the ancestry necessary to be the messiah, as a way of boosting his messianic credentials. Same goes for his supposed birth in Bethlehem. Among scholarship, these are not even debated points anymore. Don't believe me- see for yourself (along with the other 'proof texts').

To tonytiger75: I saw the 'debate' entirely differently. I saw Brown as trying to intimidate the rabbi by being a 'know-it-all' ("for our listeners, maimonides lived from 1125 to 1204"). However, weak arguments are still weak arguments. He quotes Rambam as if the Rambam is even relevant to the discussion- for a 'sola scriptura' guy, he sure relies on the rabbis a lot. I am also unconvinced by his repeated assertion that 'eternal' somehow means 'not eternal.'
Christianity is a deception. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Christianity stole the scriptures, distorted them with mistranslations, misinterpretations, and false teachings and used these distortions against the Jews to vilify, demonize and humiliate the Jews and Judaism and to justify Christianity. "Judaizers" who believed in keeping the law were ostracized.
Who would want to believe in a religion based on lies and false teachings, complete with pagan holidays??
