  • is this amp good with pedals ?

  • @zirarvak7 well, if you are thinking of some boost or overdrive, the orange will love it.

  • @Remnufacture how much gain is on the head intself w/o any added pedal distortion? could you play hard rock or thrash metal with just the head as is?

  • @FletcherHabit you can play serious metal with that head if you are going to record and lay down 2 or more tracks with your guitar. in a live situation you should use a boost or extra gain if you prefer high gain sounds. for any rock situation or old school bay area metal it would be more than enough gain in that amp

  • @FletcherHabit the orange is very dynamic with lower gain so I think you would get a almoust clean delay if you don´t use to much volume on the delay. I just got a Strymon El Capistan. You could lower the output abput 3db befor you´re going to set the mix-level. it was possible to get a nice delay sound with this setting

  • @Remnufacture About the DUal terror lacking an effects loop , if you just connect via the main input is the delay signal distorted?

  • @biroskate1 I really like that little amp. Cab was a ppc212. Just as the normal Tiny Terror it´s a growly and ass-kickin rocksound. Also ultratight for metal. One of the amps I´d love to have a effect send/return to add some delay to it. Sounds pretty well even if it´s build in China^^

  • Hi great playing!

What do you think about this amp, and what cab did you use for this demo?

  • @15viceandvirtues Yeah, thank you. The Bolero is very versatile and plays really well for a small budget guitar. It´s the Korea model. In my opinion, you can´t ask for more. Nice pickups, nice splitt-coil sound and a soft v-shaped neck. If you think about upgrading I would change the nut into a bone one and maybe the tuners. But the stock tuners are very stable. I just prefer Gotoh or Schaller, maybe staggered

  • How do you like your DBZ? The tones you got were good!
