standardbred horses are the best horses in sport , you can rely on a standardbred for whatever sport show jumping dressage cross country you name it they can do no horse compares to these horses

@kelceygirll Ah, I get your position now. I have my own little favorite horse: my pony-sized Quarter Horse, Jet. She's the most amazing creature in the world to me! And she's taken care of me on more than one accosation. She's found our way when I got us lost and protected me from a snake. Skill-wise, she's the best natural mover I've ever seen. Can't say Quarter Horses are may favorite horse because of her, but don't we all love our own horses most of all?.

@WhispertheWolf my baby boy is a stb and hes an amazing little jumper . he never hauled , or raced . but due to his strong w/t/c we always win command classes , and hes amazing in gymkhanas too , because of his ability to perform tight turns . hes an awesome jumper though , better than most tb's in his classes . i loove my guy to death <3 he can do literally anything i ask of him . my favourite thing is to go galloping through the mountains of snow up here in canada :)

@xxsportz4life8xx Standardbreds also have relatively long backs, which means they are not as good as sport horses (like Thoroughbreds) at bearing weights, but their legs are more "under them", which means they have more driving power and engage the hindquarters more, meaning more strength and better hauling ability. This power of the hindquarters is due to a great slope in their croup, which also allows them to have the ability to pace, which means they can pull carts faster than trotters.

I have two stbs Da Plane Boss (Tattoo), and Tiocfaidh Ar La (Che) Tattoo is a sweetheart that we rescued/bought, he would have died without intervention, he is a race horse who we have started under saddle, and was bought to help support my colt Che. Che is the love of my live, despite the fact that he is tough and rough!, he is not typical stb, but Tatter's is. I love it when people give these horses a second chance, both mine are for eventing eventually, they are the best!

I have a Standardbred, his name's Buddy, before it was George. He didn't really respond to his first name so I decided to change it. We also have a TB on the farm and there is a significant difference between the two. I love my horse, not because he's a SB but because he's so sweet and doesn't buck, bite or kick me. The only horse we have that I trust. The others are pretty chancy, especially the TB. He's a right sharp kicker.
