The Women's basketball team from New Zealand is hoping to pull off a big upset at the upcoming Beijing Olympic games.
The Kiwi women are considered long shots for a medal.
The team is ranked 16th best in the world in the latest international rankings.
But there have been recent signs of improvement, including a win over powerhouse australia for the first time ever during the Good Luck Beijing Olympic preview tournament.
New Zealanders affectionately refer to the lady basketball team as the "tall ferns" in honor of the plant found all over the country.
The "tall ferns" are led by the smallest player on their roster, guard Angela Marino.
The 22 year old paced New Zealand in scoring and assists at the Good Luck Beijing tournament.
This will be Marino's second Olympic games.
She earned a spot on the national team for the athens Olympics, where the Kiwis surprised the experts by making the quarterfinals.
Angela plays professionally in australia.
When she's not on the court, she spends her free time in the library.
Marino is studying to become a lawyer.
The New Zealand women's team is getting a boost from two imports just in time for the Olympic games.

Jillian Harmon was raised in the USA, but her mother is a Kiwi
She sent an e-mail to the New Zealand coach, who encouraged Harmon to join the team.
Claire Bodensteiner was a college teammate of Harmon's in america.
She was born in New Zealand and also approached the coach right before the Good Luck Beijing tournament.
The Kiwis are hoping the two players will provide an extra spark to help them excel at the highest level.
