Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, 1979
Kozlovsky sings Fenesta che lucive (Bellini) in his concert. He is 79 years old here.
It's a live recording, a slight sound and video desync is my fault.

  • What artists were on earth before my generation. What a love of art he had! Without, his gift well preserved with love and passion; how could he sing like this. Lets pray for his soul...

  • Amazing singing and amazing rendition!! But in which language??? It seems to be a sort of mix of Neapolitan and Russian!! Anyway, really really beautiful.

  • @Jack82you not russian, but ukrainian )

  • lastima que este tipo de melodia la apreciemos unos pocos y no todos esto es muy triste el saber que casi nadie le da interes a este tipo de música.

    English translation

pity that this kind of melody the few and not appreciate all this is very sad to know that almost nobody gives interest to this kind of music

  • @Jack82you Russian singer of the song is this in Italian

  • I clicked this thinking it might be sort of fun. An then, this Slav carried me away to the land of total sadness...

  • люблю Ивана Семёновича и никогда не перестану восхищаться его искусством пения и как человека в целом!

  • @Lanza3838 The only problem IVAN KOZLOVSKY wasn't Russian, he was Ukrainian. I thought that as Spaniard you are close enough to know that Russia and Ukraine are not the same.

  • @gestas60323 Actually, Ivan was born in 1900, so was 79 in 1979. He died in 1993.

  • Nothing short of incredible! Thank goodness this performance has been captured on film/video.

  • @gestas60323 ok, thanks... that seems much more coherent to me!! he sang very good at his age here...

  • truly amazing and incredibly beautiful
