  • Developers did everything what they could for variability. Besides combat and platforming, there are slide parts, a lot of puzzle, giant Alice part (crushing card guards is really fun) etc. They didnt add more weapons, because they wanted to have strategy in the game. You have to use different weapons on each enemy and, if there were more weapons, you just choose the most powerfull one and crush everything thats in your way. (like in the most games novadys) Sorry fo bad english.

  • Have a dislike. I hope you get just as insane as Alice, dipshit.

  • xplay dissed saints row 2 because it didnt have a lock-on feature. really? really? how lame are you if you need a lock-on to shoot in a game? 2 out of 5 was the rating. if i remember correctly. i played it and it was just as good as the first one. cant really go with xplay's reviews anymore man, i swear. cynical as fuck. btw video games are a combination of art and science. a perfect balance. people keep trying to seperate the two. where would you "greatest games" be if it werent for art teams?

  • this review is exactly why game can't be art, every time a game developer tries to go that direction, they get kicked in the balls. Make more theme park joyride, then disguise it with illusion of freedom and you get praise. What art?

  • this game is really beautiful. the plot is really dark. and gameplay is really long.

  • While Madness Returns had disappointing aspects, I strongly disagree with a 2 out of 5, a 3 or a 4 would suffice, but it is just an opinion.

  • Oh, X-Play... as cynical as always :)

  • it is at least a solid 3 star game, granted it is no 5 star instant epic classic but it is still a good game.

  • @FantasticFranco

Sorry, but someone I know loves Tim Burton is enjoying the game. I'm still tempted to buy this myself...

  • I completely agree, started out well but the levels wear on far too log and the few bits added to break up the platforming are just as dull and repetitive.

  • 179 Tim Burton fans weren't happy

  • this game sucked ass and he knew it.
