Sam Mullins takes the stage at DNTO's special live show in Vancouver on October 22, 2011. He tells the story of an evening that changed his life. A few years ago, he moved to Vancouver to pursue his dream of being a big city writer and actor. So he poured his heart and soul into it. But things didn't go as well as he planned. He was so discouraged he was about to give it all up. Until one night while Sam was waiting on tables, and everything changed. Sam told his story in front of an audience of about 400 people in CBC Vancouver's Studio 40, and then demonstrated his tinfoil dinosaur-making prowess. The story is excerpted from his awesome Fringe play, Tinfoil Dinosaur. Check it out! And for more lovely and lively Canadian stories visit www.cbc.ca/dnto Videographer: Ken Stewart
