@permaveg it is just people showing respect for our fallen soldiers, it matters where they come from, but probably means a lot to the parents of those we have lost

Sorry to shatter the media illusion, but most of those lining the streets are not from bassett, i know , i live nearby. The original people who started the thing in the first place find this hysteria with t.v. crews and flower throwing ( from dianas funeral) and perhaps the weirdest thing, clapping as the hearse passes, very distasteful in deed. It has become a show.
