  • @maaitah too bad we wont see that for the next 10 years. Not even close to significant market share

  • I'll be sitting right there, when the first truck of Leaf will come to Italy. And one of those cars will be mine, Definitively. Period.

  • y are the batteries les only ? so you can not keep the Batteries ! BUT YOU CAN KEEP THE CAR ! not good . Car ONLY RUNS WITH BATTERIES !!! ty for your input ? SEE YA ,

  • @SalvadorDalinian That's great man. It's good that you are opting for the zero emission future, one by one we can all make a difference, I really envy you (in a good way) for getting your Leaf. I live in Texas and the Leaf will not come over here until next year, but im still a loyal Nissan customer (own a Nissan Altima) though I wish my Altima was Zero Emission too lol and BTW great color choice, out of all the colors ive seen, black is the best, it makes the Leaf look a lil sporty

  • How will the batteries be disposed when the car is no longer in use? hopefully they have developed some sort of recycling program for the batteries.

  • Why did Nissan not use in-wheel motor tech? I thought the future(now) was going this way.

  • My Leaf will be black. Goodbye filthy oil. Hello zero emission. Forty percent of the grid is generated by hydroelectric dams and wind farms in Oregon. The $3 per day (3 cents per mile) operational cost, $7500 federal and $1500 state tax credit makes the Leaf an ideal daily commute vehicle. Thank you, Nissan!

  • Youtube didn't do a good Job of directing my reply under the post I intended it to be under.

***Chevron is sitting and mothballing many NiMH related pattents ever since most of which expire in dec 2014*** (why hoard if its bad???)

I was responding to the (Why Hoard if it's bad) portion. You elaborated yourself in other posts Why it's bad. Just blame You-tube for putting posts out of order and causing myself a little confusion.

  • @btwbrand

What you say makes a lot of sense,

the only thing im not sure is which part(is bad for business) you are refering to when stating "its bad for business" , whats the "it"?

  • It's bad for businesses. there is an established hierarchy of money flow through the energy sectors. Start-up companies have little to no room to gain a foothold, because large companies hold all the real estate. Sitting on the patents ensures no one can use the technology to emproach on their long held territory or open new sectors for development.

Lithium is a dead end. Yes it's powerful, but not plentiful. NiMH is sustainable, powerful, recyclable, and coming en-mass after waiting 20 years.
