Some years ago, NPR did a story about a fellow who was in a car accident in Florida. He was knocked out & as he's coming to, he hears the Lone Ranger telling him everything is going to be fine, help is on the way. So he thinks he's hallucinating. He opens his eyes & yes, it's the Lone Ranger talking to him. Turns out Clayton Moore was driving back from a gig in costume, saw the accident & stopped to help.

The fellow said, "Well, OF COURSE everything was OK. The Lone Ranger wouldn't lie to me!"

A LEGEND. when i was a boy i was given a lone ranger book and a pencil case every birthday, GREAT!
