A lot of that is the type of shark, but as a rule of thumb yes. Thats a good size tank, next you'll need a good filttation, I have a Bio Filter. You can find the Marine salt at any pet store. and for maintanes keep the algee under controle and clean theh filter when it gets derty and a water change every 2 to 6 months. may I suggest going to your local Aquarium of pet Fish Store.
is it true you need to have your tank set up 6 months before you actually put your shark into water? ive been researching but cant find anything that answers most of my questions. 1 is i have a 200 gallon fish tank, thats ittt. can you tell me what i need to buy, what kinda of food and salt and what not to buy and how to somewhat maintain it? thankss

Is the shark still alive? How did you get it to eat when it first hatched and how long did it take? Mine hatched a couple days ago and still I am trying to get it to eat.
