@misssyBree... Actually lightning and thunder happen at the same time... It is only your distance from the event that makes the sound happen after the lightning. I was in a very bad storm and lightning was striking all around me... I'll tell ya... The lightning and thunder happened simotaniously. In the case of this video, the guy who made it said that this was just 2 photos played together with the sound added later for entertainment purposes.

Hi there MisssyBree. Half correct and half incorrect. This clip consists of 2 photos.
1 I took just before the lightning flash and 1 of the lightning flash. I was taking a picture of the lights on a tripod and flukily got one from the exact same position of the lightning. I edited them together and added the sound effect to make the shot more entertaining, but the shot of the lightning is 100% real. I have witnesses!

This has to be fake. Lightning comes before thunder because light travels faster than sound. The thunder wouldve been heard several second to a few minutes later.
