As a Fairfax County student, I remember that day pretty well. Roads were slick, car accidents aplenty, and school was very hard to get to. Dev Kori's call was in all ways understandable. To this day, I still blame Fairfax County Public Schools for making these decisions in the wee hours of morning when no one is awake as opposed to making the decision the night before so students don't have to waste their time on homework that is supposed to be turned in the next day. No one here likes FCPS.
