Long hours are wearing and stressful even if you're getting paid well. On a tv show, it must be especially tedious for actors who are trying to be creative whilst complicated technical elements, all that go in to putting on a show, happen around them. It can make you cranky, even though from a logical perspective, it's not constructive to complain about it when people are only trying to do their job. Katherine didn't mean any major offence, I'm sure.

I'll tell you why she's a bitch. They made her do a 17 hr day cuz she needed off to promote her goddamn terrible movie "Ugly Truth". Now there are actors like christian bale, daniel day lewis and denzel who have worked 48 hrs straight. And they did that for love of the movie and NOT for promoting crap. Why the fuck is she still on the show earning millions per episode if she is not happy. Construction workers work 17 hrs a day and get about 100 bucks..... if she aint happy she can leave the fuck

It's truly incredible how much she resembles her character on Grey's, Izzie, a lot in real life! It's almost comforting. Grey's Anatomy is one of the best television shows ever made which is why it requires so much hard work and long hours. I almost feel like she's Izzie being bitter without George on the show. But, I'm just another Greys Anatomy dreamer. :)

I don't agree with the people who say she's a bitch but it doesn't sound very educated of her to say insinuate that people in Mexico "don't love their dogs" as she briefly mentioned, the economic structure there is different, cultures are different, therefore human and animal relationships are also different. She sounds like she's truly passionate about animal rescue but she could fare better on the anthropological side and try to let go of the cultural judgments.
