Wow, listen to those rails creak! I have to admit that it's really nice to see a "good ol'" Guilford unit in a world where "PanAm" is the word of the day...
Really nice footage. Not everyone gets to see everyday switching like this. Any idea where all that pulp wood is headed?

Pretty good job, lol, still one of the things I have yet to see.

Neat Video - thanks for sharing it.

I don't mind bells, just certain manufacturers of bells are worse than others, and the fast ring tends to cancel out all the engine noise (which is personally what I like to hear on a video). There's one bell I've heard that sounded like a cowbell!

Ahh 321! I got this train in one of my videos! Its got a nice RS3L-R on it! Check out OLD Depot Rd Day.

Yep. They pushed it back a few more days though. Now it's gonna open around the end of the month instead.
Great video! Are some of those pulpwood cars made from old boxcars?

@route29a Thanks! My Dad filmed it, & I made it into a video. Those are modified flatcars designed to hold smaller pieces of wood, & were custom built for the St. Lawrence & Atlantic, & NB Southern RR's for fast loading, & unloading.

That bell, is SO annoying! One thing I cannot stand is railroads that use their bells like that.

That's a movement bell (fast ring) to let everyone know the train is getting ready to move. Used mostly in quiet zones where the horns cannot be used. Otherwise, just the slower ring yard bell is used. It's really not that bad when you're used to hearing them like I am. This video is louder than usual for some reason, so that's probably why it may sound annoying.
