After seeing Jade, the one entity he at least cared for (Even if due to Bec's influence), being always alone and hated, disregarrded... Perhaps that was just the thing. Being a god, needing to destroy everything to feel he could actually do something. Perhaps just no one thought of Jack Noir first.
Perhaps he didn't think of anyone else as well. We shall never know.
