GAV's conversion is a great example, he dont know how to do it to start with. IF GAV can do it you can do it too.

Mechanically inclined? Yes. Weld? Nope. Wire? Yes, but not the kind of wiring you're speaking of(Worked with low power systems, not the type you find in traction applications.). Follow instructions? Yes. Stick to a high standard? Yes, but only when there is an advantage in doing so. I'd love nothing more than to be able to work on EVs. Specifically, of the high performance or long range variety. Have lots of ideas.

Get the experience of welding through Ampmobile or through a course. But first get in touch with Mike Moore. He is trying to build a network of informed and willing converters who will deliver good quality to consumers. Another person to contact is Bob Batson, a component supplier.
