From the archive: Desert Storm War on Terror? Stop!

Using news "pool" footage, this "music video" was made shortly after Desert Storm but there was no YouTube so it got dusty on the shelf as news does when the next "just in" comes along. Evidence shows that we were deceitfully led into our first invasion of Iraq. We need to wake up and stop letting tragic history repeat itself. True patriots demand the truth!

DBEAT, just because a president decided to go to war does not mean you have to rally behind him to be a patriot, as the people one of our duties is to make sure this country remains just and fair with it's treatment of ALL people, whether they are American, European, or Arabic, it doesn't matter. To be a patriot is to stand for the ideals that are true and realistic, I respect the soldiers but if they werent in Iraq I would still have my freedom.

That's kinda the point, bud. They're not defending freedom. They were sent to fight, and they're doing their best to stay alive, but they're not doing anything to bring peace and freedom to anyone. Not the soldiers fault, but they weren't sent for the reasons you were told.
