That may be shocking to us at first, especially to those of us who don't shoot Leica because we have thousands of dollars burning holes in our pockets, but save every penny we can to shoot a system we trust and believe in for many reasons. But I don't find this to be negative. Erwin Puts explains that it is not at this point German vs Other material (lenses or bodies) that is making the quality differences. But rather the amount of error allowed and level of quality control.
