This is the second video to the building of the snowboard box.
Both of the boxes together were a total of ~$200. The frames were $60 (excluding sides, scrap from my house) the plastic was $114 and the metal was about $20. The metal is optional but recommended because it helps it slide a little better and helps protect the plastic. I got my wood at a local lumber yard (recommended, usually have better quality wood). I got my plastic and metal at the same place...luckily and the plastic is a 1/4" thick (this is much much cheaper than 1/2" and its so unnecessary and very expensive. Most ski resort use 3/8" because of wear and tear but the 1/4" holds up fine. SAVE YOUR MONEY!) I built them lower to the ground so you don't have to build some ridiculous lip. I also built two of them so you dont have some 14 foot box that weights a hundred pounds and u have to have 9 people carry it. I can carry one of them by my self (DONT DO THIS, i almost killed my self) but its a lot easier..it gives you a better set up...and there portable.

  • why the hell r u making a snoboard box in dead ass summer?

  • @TMStopmotion so i dont have to make it in the cold ass winter....dumbass

  • Hey dude nice video! But im in trouble with the HDPE thickness. Where i live i can buy 1/4" (6.5mm)and there isn't any thicker size sheets. So my question is, Is the 1/4" really enough to countersink screws and ride on it?

  • yea I used 1/4" and it worked fine. Yea you can countersink them..the plastic is thicker than you think.
