u can make those light stand yourself. get: a microphone stand, a light fixture, and a white umbrella.. figure it out

By the time you did all that, you'd probably spend more then the $50-$60 they cost on ebay. Plus it would look jerry-rigged and would have a difficult time staying together. Even if the ebay kit costed more, it would work better and look more professional.

1.does anyone know where i can get good lighting equiptment cheap?

2.Whats the difference in a shotgun mic that you attach onto a camera and those mice you see news people wear where its like on their collar of their shirt what do those do compared to a shotgun mic?
