i know what you mean but times change and even the beatles enjoyed the modern ''music'' that came after them . yes they still rock and they have not had a hit since 1970. People will still compare them in a 100 years

Ask any band that actually matters and I don't mean the ones that stick around for 1 or 2years and they'll tell you the Beatles were a huge influence.
