An incredible dance by two legendary dancers of the golden era.
This is a clip from the movie "You Were Never Lovelier" and dancing to a remixed, but good version of "Bossa Nova Baby" by Elvis Presley.

  • Rita moves so cool and loose. Love her.

  • Why why why would you put Elvis music over Fred Astaire. I love Elvis, but why not use the original audio of the clip?

  • @COYOTE165A Yes it certainly was Xavier Cugat.

  • @1Kraxmaskin I did not know that Rita could dance like that.? I s that band leader Xavier Cugat standing there.?

  • Too bad some wiseguy had to change the music. HEY! You can't make anything better that way.

  • I love it!

  • This is completely amazing

  • @murraymae Following this frame by frame. She was good.

  • @murraymae. That is not what I read in a biography of Fred. Ginger would do the rehearsals and worked hard during filming. But she would not repeat the steps after filming which was necessary for dubbing into the film, Hermes Pan had to do her steps whilst Fred did his.

  • great!
