wow that's a great perspective of life you've got there, hands down. It can be both scary and pleasing to think about what awaits you after death. however, you only live once ( let's assume that ) so life is about making most out of your time, and not wasting it by thinking about what happens after.
It's awesome. I'm Swedish though. Sweden is like Denmarks more well behaved and booring bigger brother. There's the same lack of religion though. But let's face it. In Denmark there's very little religion AND you can buy alchohol legally when you're 16! That's nothing but awesome :p
It is indeed liberating to let go of false religions but i deeply advise you to adopt the true one. It is nothing more than awe and admiration towards the mysteryous. I sometimes ponder about the universe and many questions pop up like : why isn't there nonexistence instead of existence ,and will we ever stop discovering new things about the structure of reality etc .Now my friend when u have this questions u can't help but wonder if there isn't something behind it all,not a god, just something.
the nature of God is too complex for the human mind to even try to understand. I'm comfortable with just being and taking care of my fellow man. Just loving each day with no fear of pain. i'm comfortable with letting mysteries remain as that, unless they reveal themselves to me unprovoked. I'm ok with letting nature and evolution take their courses. Where we are collectively was done by choice. We have only to look to ourselves for personal and intellectual growth.
What i'm trying to say is that i would rather practice what all good religions of the world preach than preach about it to everyone else. I'm not going to get into the "God's Image" argument because i have a mind, and i don't like dictation too much. Like i said, no more bullshit. let's be good to each other. you know, treat others how you would want to be treated. I honestly don't care for what God looks like because i don't know. Sorry. Isn't being good enough?

if he made you in his image then what does that tell you about God? he made you ignorant? is he ignorant?
