In 2008 Georgia cooperatives partnered with the NRECA International Foundation to send volunteers to Ixcan, Guatemala. Their goals were to connect isolated communities to the national grid, as well as to timprove safety and reliability of electricity of those already with service. Over 1,300 residents have benefitted from the hardwork and dedication of the Georgia volunteers.

  • thank you guy to do this for my country i'm from guatemala i really apreciate that and i'm also an electrician actually working for a electric company in cartersville ga, is call "RIMFIRE ELECTRIC"  use to be "FAITH ELECTRIC" been there for 6 years THANK YOU A LOT FOR WHAT YOU DID THERE IN GUATEMALA
