@TheThirdWing94 ohhh i dont know, maybe that he makes a said amount of money meaning he doesn't really care what haters have to say. his abilities have gotten him where he's at so us arguing won't change that. Don't see anything idiotic about the comment. It does however prove your trolling ability, would you like a cookie?
-
@MasterChiefZ28 So whats money have to do with it? Bringing that up shows your idiocy.

You see NFL players blow off questions like that all the time...he played it safe so he wouldn't risk saying something the media would blow up. Tough enough for him being from Arkansas, there's so much bias and hate towards us. He will be a great player, he will get his time. He proved his worth at Arkansas, and if ya don't like him, tough shit, he's making more money than all of us.

Nothing "less than stellar" here. Just an honest dude.

im an Arkansas fan but i dont think Mallett can write his name... Good QB though lots of good memories
-
good for you Mallett... I like this dude

I go to Arkansas. I have seen Ryan Mallett fed up on every type of drug there is. Numerous times. I have also seen mcfadden fed up too. These guys are rough around the edges...comes with growing up in crappy places...but come on they're clean now, they test you too much

There is nothing wrong with this interview. It may be a little rough around the edges, but he doesn't need to share everything with the media. He explained that to them, and they kept pushing. I don't see how he was condescending.
-
He told the reporters that he wishes to keep that information between him and the owners before he started answering questions.
-
His agent told him to keep the drug rumors between him and the team owners/ coaches. I feel like he handled the conference well. All the rumors that were started are from people that don't know him. The razorbacks still support you Ryan.
I think he did a good job. It wasnt a prepared statement that handlers prepared for him like a few others. He answered the questions posed and said he did not want to talk about some rumors. Thats fair i think. You have to remember that MILLIONS of dollars are at stake here. Its no different than rumors hitting the press the day before an election.
Most rumors are started by people with an agenda. Thats likely the case here.
"Less than stellar?" I don think so.

@MrRazorback70 That's fine. I didn't think he did a good job and here's why- he knew those questions on his drug use were coming- the same way Cam Newton knew they were coming, the same way Robert Quinn knew questions about his suspension were coming. He came across as condescending and that is an opinion of a lot of good journalists in that room, and NFL executives that were watching.

I'm going to call you what you are--a hack--just like the POS so-called journalist from Yahoo Sports who is engaging in the character assassination of Ryan Mallett. The kid simply chose to focus on football, not BS rumors that just started. What blows me away is jerks like you who think they have the right to try and destroy his career, as well as jerks like the Yahoo Sports LIAR who said these rumors have been circulating for months. Strange... I have NEVER heard about it until this week.

@jamesbell38117 Well you're a complete idiot. All this video is, is footage of a well-attended press conference I was at. Get it? You answer questions at a press conference. And the fact that you have never heard of these allegations until now while the rest of the sports world has is a reflection of you. Moron.

@MartyTimeTV
I dont think thats fair. Ive never heard this before either. Does that make me a moron? People who dont agree with you arent automatically morons. Your response makes you like like a prick. You may or may not be. The camera work was awful but that doesnt mean youre a moron. It just means you may not be the best camera guy around.

@MrRazorback70 Youre right- my camera work was awful. Wasn't intending to post this video until I saw the reaction it got at press conference. And no, I don't care if people agree with me or not. That James Bell dude starts immediately with his vicious name-calling & has a history of doing that to everyone at my station. With him, it is personal. With everyone else, it's not. I'm sharing an opinion, which we're all entiteld to.
