Duke Nukem 3D - E1L1 in 12 seconds

Me speedrunning the first level of Duke Nukem 3D on Damn I'm Good. I was using the latest JonoF's port when the video was recorded (18.04.2004) with the Polymost renderer set on (this might affect the gameplay little, since the renderer works a bit differently than the original one. I can't be sure though, since I didn't program the thing :).

I fooled around with the level for hours and I really don't think you can finish of the level any faster without slowing down the game to exceed natural human precision.

Well, you couldn't do that on Let's Rock and below :) Except maybe if you got in to the windows, got the steroids and used a warp (glitch) to get up there.

@Spirrwell I've heard of/seen some pretty good times with easy skill levels using the steroids trick, but this still is the fastest way to do the level, I think.

Holy fuck!!!!! Triple's is the fastest shit I've seen in my life. As for your video, I guess you're right, it changes nothing, but you still have to explain why the fuck the shield wasn't spinning.

The shield stops spinning on the second you hit enter to select the skill level, the sound is played a bit afterwards.

Nice job! I posted a video using the same route as this but i beat it in 15 seconds. I thought i had the best time on youtube... Turns out that i didn't :( Oh well I'm happy with 15 secs. New personal best at least xD
