Windows 7 allows users to use a new virtual folder called "Libraries" that is composed of one or more folders on your computer, providing you easy access to your Documents, Pictures, Videos, and Music... no matter where the files exist.

  • @KeroroGunsouTX I actually wouldn't mind if it had the ability to e.g. aggregate all the images on my computer into one place. Not sure if this is possible, though.

  • I went back to Windows XP because of the "Libraries" feature of Windows 7.

"Virtual Folders" make NO sense to me whatsoever. Why no create an ACTUAL folder and if you want, just add shortcuts to whatever other documents or directories you want?

  • Libraries are a waste of brain-effort.
