Thanks, I got in a lot of trouble to get it that way, and it sure is more fun to drive. I'm going to make another vid of this one soon.

I ride a IC CE with a DT466.. you talking about power and speed. We're able to climb hills while gaining speed. My bus does kick some ass.

Does the straight pipe affect power and fuel economy.

Yes.
It will spool up the turbo a smidge quicker, and the free flow will keep exhaust temps cooler. Dont expect but maybe a couple hp, and possibly a gain of .1 mpg. A lot depends on the current setup.

I have a stock 2000 DT466e(Dt466 electronic) never been rebuilt.
And also a 1990 DT466 which also have never been rebuilt.

Lots of potential with both engines. I'm currently working on a package for both engines, the 300+hp pkg

I drive a beer truck with a dt466 it runs circles around the other route trucks. One is a peterbilt with cat, terribly underpowered for what it needs to do. Mine hauls, even loaded down, I love it. Still miss my road truck with a series 60 but I like the route truck a lot. Sadly I have to switch to a goose neck soon, gonna miss that truck. Just aint enough bays for the route..

This one is faster than most newer 300hp trucks. I had the timing set a wee bit too high, and another driver was on the go pedal too much when it was cold.....popped the headgasket.
