cheers for that, will try, when the wind is howling and the snow is falling I can cheer myself up with images of skiathos, saying that u must miss the rotten uk weather? not!!
bet its weird in the winter, must admit prefer the spring there, dont like too many tourists.. and love the weather and flowers then.. Ill stop waffling cheers cu jilly

Nope. The mossies are still out in force. I happen to be severely allergic to a specific species of mosquito.. Right now I have 6 citronella nightlights burning, a mossie incense spiral, and 2 anti-mosquito plugins on the go; And I still have to sit here with a can of Raid next to me.. Im convinced this island is being used to boost the worldwide mossie population.. But then its my own fault for living next to what was once a swamp..

uh yeah thats me too.. And Skiathos is great in summer; Winter is mind-numbingly boring..

Surely not, when all us horrible tourists have gone,,great to have the island back to yr self..still say lucky you, has anyone got
round to doin a web cam from the town yet?, most of the other islands are up and running..
at least u got mildish weather during the winter.. we are abot to have the first snow of 2008.. yipeeee! cu jilly
