@mrfucn187 It doesn't like like a super nice car, so it's probably just crappy stock speakers. The quality of the sound depends on your speakers. Make sure to use some type of preamp though, or else you will drain your battery!!!

@mrfucn187 No, it sounds this way because I recorded through a digital camera that I bought a while ago... the audio from the camera is not good. I plan on adding a video with better audio to supplement this.

@samsharp1 You could actually just play the iPod through the car speakers with, ya know, the original tape adapter... I guess if you were looking to get crazy with it, you could. Or you could buy new speakers or a stereo for your car... or perhaps a new car.
