I thought having the "right" to something meant your individual ration of power covered it as something the government owes you for living in it. People get sick and die whether or not Americans have to pay for healthcare. It's not constitutional to force us to pay for a service.

Second, its not free if every citizen pays $2 - $5 extra in taxes, big deal, atleast every tax payer will be covered...Btw, thats how it works in Canada and Europe, no one complains because it's very convenient and fair, people also live much longer in Canada and Europe then in the States, also our status of living is higher then in the States....geee, I wonder why????

Basically what you are saying is that if someone cannot afford healthcare, wheather they are middle class or lower class citizens who had perhaps worked their entire life, paying taxes and then one day, god forbid, they get diagnosed with cancer, they are good as dead because there is no way in hell a regular citizen will be able to afford chemotherapy and meds.
