Scumbag Jeep owner

Woodbridge NJ Augus 28, 2011, hurricane Irene aftermath. This Jeep owner thought it would be a good idea to go for a joy ride through flooded streets. Residents were not impressed.

I live on watson avenue and lost my house in this flood......so I'm glad you all think this is a cool jeep. We weren't jealous or pissed or even stuck in our houses. We were not happy to have the additional water pushed into our living rooms by the water displaced by the jeep driving by.

Did the same thing in my jeep today.. except for the local PD asked me to help pull a bunch of stuck cars and give them rides threw flooded areas. Does that make me a scumbag?

if there was a flood round where i live, id be riding my snorkeled atvs all threw that, mostly cause i can and i reallywould hurt things worsde than they already are...

I did the same thing in my dad's Ranger, and would do it again in my Blazer if it happens. I had a tree blow down in my yard and got my boat destroyed in the hurricane. So why cant i go find flooded roads and have a little fun? Get to cut off areas and take some pictures? How does that make me an asshole? It's not like my car going down a flooded street is hurting anyone, hell if anyone needed their cars out of the water, my 18,000 lb winch would probably come in handy.

I could understand if he had a place to go on the other side and slowly went through it, but just flooring through it then leaving is pointless and stupid. Although i wonder what was up with the black jeep.
