  • I think you did a very gud job on this song. Im singing it for NATS competition. although i feel it would have been much more expressive if you sang it without music. But great job!!!!!

  • Thank you!! Yeah, I once had a voice teacher who said "The eyes sing flat." I normally would have had everything memorized, but a peer of mine performed "Whither Must I Wander" and had an utterly severe memory lapse. That kinda scared me, so I decided to have a binder for that song in particular, and so I needed to have a binder for the other songs in this set as well. I'm pretty sure I already had this song memorized. lol Anyhow, best of luck in the NATS competition. 1st place, man!!

  • I am singing this for the OMEA competition. Thank you so much for the help!!

  • I'm glad it's helped you!

  • man the recording quality is excellent! what equipment did you use?

  • Thanks! Well, I hired Sal Vito to audio record my recital, and I'm not sure exactly what equipment he uses. But in general, I do know he uses "vintage" large-capsule vacuum tube microphones and one of the best analog-to-digital converters around. He guarantees to deliver an audiophile-quality recording with a vintage sound. (By "vintage", he means it sounds a bit like an original Beatles recording about 50 yrs. ago-- but not so far back that it sounds like a Caruso recording from 100 yrs. back.)
