I remember hearing and falling in love with this beautiful song when I was 13 years old. Over the years I ( like so many others commenting here) have searched in vain for the song title or the name of the musical group. When I finally tracked it down after many months searching youtube, it was even more beautiful than I remembered. My heart smiles and my eyes fill with tears every time I hear "Soul Coaxing"... Thank you so much for posting this magical music...

Brings back memories of basic training ft Knox spring '68. Listened to it on wsac radio. Truly a great instrumental. I have very mixed emotions when I hear it.

A Masterpiece, from the Spring of '68. I was 21 y/o, going on 22, & to this day, I never, ever tire of this song. Wolfsky9, 66 y/o

Precious memories of family and being a carefree kid listening to this.Someone mentione Paul Moriat.I think his best was his version of MacKenzie's San Francisco which I believe came out in 1968

There are many "hidden" and long forgotten musical treasures on you tube. This is yet another of them. It has lifted my spirits tremendously to find this today.

anybody who remembers this song by Raymond Levfevre must have been very young. I was 11 years old. The song cracked top forty am radio 4/06/68. It brings back Memories of my family taking us to the shore on vacation.I was 11 years at the time, Summer of '68. I would imagine the musicians and background vocalist were very young at the time. Is there any of you out there that actually performed on this recording ? Myself and others would like to know, here from you......

I forgot to add that if you like this song you may also like Paul Mauriat's version of The Rascals' tune called Groovin.

This was the introductory theme to the "Late Movie" (10:30 PM Central) on a local station back in the 70's. Hearing it then made you aware that you were being allowed to stay up past your bedtime. Any movie would do. The campier, the better.

    Thanks for the post!

Just a wonderful instrumental! My senior year in 1968 and when I hear this it brings back many memories from years that have gone by way too quickly!
