  • kipping/butterfly pull ups are just as good as STRICT. with the swing you can do more, obviously. the swing gives a little momentum to get those EXTRA pulls ups completed. and can everyone tell me what causes that momentum? MUSCLE. no one is cheating themselves when doing kipping/butterfly style pull ups.

  • they do that little swing because its a full body workout pull up look at there bodys but its easier to do id rather stick to doing regular pull ups

  • I did this one today, really fun.

  • search crossfit kipping pull ups. it gymnastics style its used for crossfit workouts. We also do strict pullups depending on the workout.

  • is there a reason the pull ups are done like that, the legs swining and using momentum 2 boost you up.. im not trash talkin in seriously asking , cuz thats not how i do em.. or how i was told.. i do slow controlled legs stabalized pulling myself up and lowering my self down... again im not insulting anyone i simply wondering what the science is behind that way of doing the exercise
