@HungryGreeny Then you'd have a truly "green powered car".
-
@petrol4d "we can make that from potatoes or some thing like that"
From cannabis, btw.

@HungryGreeny Maybe your right. I havent done the calculations yet. Still, the fule cell seems to be latest green machine. Although driving about in a hydrogen bomb dont sound like fun to me. Gimme ,gas, petrol, diesel, anything dinosaur bone related. id rather run my car on jack daniels than plug it in to charge like a toy car. Alcohol or ethonol is pretty good. And we can make that from potatoes or some thing like that. Then we can have alcohol fuled cars as well as voilence. happydays.

@petrol4d Disagree with you. Electric vehicles is the only way to use energy from renewable sources in transport. Yes, today most of electric energy produced by fossil fuel power stations, however to fully charge electric car we use way less oil than to fill up the tank of petrol/diesel car.

love it!!!! good job. This in a daily car bug would be great.

Hi, great work btw =). I'm interested in building an electric time attack car, just wondering if you know any good sources of info for building an electric car?

Oh my gooooooodddd !

Is the motor in the front? I noticed the tunnle in the centre looks like its for a gearbox. Good engineering. This is the only electric car i like. At least it was built for fun and not for that electric cars can save the plannet bull. Electric cars save nothing but petrol. All the more for me to put in my beetle.

flat four motors don't stand a chance in hell against the electric cars. The sound can always be simulated. Electric cars are going to get so fast that they will need to be limited so that the torque doesn't break people's necks. With that kinda speed, we will see who the real drivers are.
Sorry, but part of the spectacle for me is the sound of a flat four motor. That sounds awful! nice looking car. Why use a Beetle, there's plenty of old Nova's and Micra's out there!!! Keep it real offdrc.

@VWFREAKSTER
We're not trying to prove anything, its just a bit of fun. We used a beetle because we like beetle's, don't get me wrong, i love the sound of a flat four as much as anyone, thats why i drive a split pannel and an oval ragtop when ever I can, pretty keen on the noise of a V6 too which is why my daily is an R32. Just something a bit different and fun. sorry to disapoint you.
