Struggle Part 6

Darren joins Steve in his room and Steve tries to tell him the simplest solution is to just go and see Jessie. Darren knows what Jessie wants. Before that though, Darren tries to score on the street to no avail. That evening Darren and Steve and Alex learn a shocking truth about Chance. At night, in their room Darren again observes the tender love between Steve and Alex and fantasizes about the relationship he wishes he could have with Steve. The next day, Jessie tries to get Darren into his car with him but Darren won't go. Jessie bides his time and Steve goes to Sapphire and tries to borrow money from her. She won't lend him the money and Steve and Darren become resigned to the fact that Darren will have to give himself to Jessie to pay off his debt. The car service takes them there and Darren finds himself facing a situation he is unprepared for.
