Was there anybody else in the elevator with the pregnant woman?

@ProudVolunteer19 You pretty much just answered your own question. That's why it's not a code 4 response. There are dangers to being trapped in an elevator, but only enough that, it's a code 3 response, and not enough danger to be a code 4.

You need a camera mount.

How come elevator rescues are code three responses? I can see that the person trapped may get anxious....but they are in no real danger of the elevator falling. Or was it code three because she was pregnant?

@ProudVolunteer19 Don't really know the answer. As far as I know, we are to respond to all calls lights & siren for insurance reasons. Personally, there are a few type of calls we attend that, in my honest opinion, do not require lights & siren (elevator calls without a medical problem, CO detector activations without medical symptoms, activated fire & smoke alarms without reports of smoke or fire...)
